Susan Sarandon, David Arquette and Adam Brody are in negotiations to star in Rosanna Arquette’s feature directorial debut Hemlock Drive. Jennifer Carta and Mandy Steckelberg wrote the script, which concerns a dying mother who enlists her three grown children to throw her a living funeral in a desperate attempt to unite her family. Production is scheduled to start this September in Louisiana.
Rosanna Arquette previously directed Searching For Debra Winger and All We Are Saying. Sarandon is currently filming Arbitrage with Richard Gere. David Arquette is preparing to direct the 3D psychological thriller Glutton this summer. Brody recently wrapped Whit Stillman’s Damsels In Distress and Julian Farino’s dramedy The Oranges.
