Marisa Tomei is an actor who knows how to make the most of a comeback. And this time, she’s back in her new role in Andy Fickman’s comedy Us & Them. Tomei has signed to co-star alongside Bette Midler and Billy Crystal. She’ll be playing their estranged daughter, Alice, whom they slowly but surely repair their relationship with.
The real crux of the story is the difference between grandparents and grandchildren, the crazy, new-fangled ways of the latter, and old school versus new school parenting. Crystal and Midler are stuck caring for their grandchildren and are baffled by their 21st century lives. Filming will begin later this month in Atlanta.
