Bhaichung Bhutia Claims Shah Rukh Khan Did Not Support His Team
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was in the news recently after his cricket team KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) won the IPL final match, has time and again stated that he has equal affection for football and has also disclosed his plans to buy a stake in Goa football club Dempo.
However, former Indian football skipper Bhaichung Bhutia has a different story to tell about Khan's passion for football. Bhutia claims that he had approached Shah Rukh Khan for asking his help in supporting his football team United Sikkim FC, but nothing came out of it. Bhutia was quoted saying, "I spoke to SRK once but he was busy with KKR at the time. I had met him in Mumbai but nothing happened."
Khan, who was an avid sportsman during his college days, had played a hockey coach in Chak De India and is said to be quite enthusiastic about games like cricket, football and hockey. So why such partial behaviour, Mr. Khan?
