Vidya Balan Plans To Direct A Bengali Film?

Vidya Balan, whose last movie Kahaani, a thriller set in Kolkata, was much appreciated by critics and audiences alike and now it seems that Balan, who claims to have a special affinity to Kolkata, wants to direct a film which will be a tribute to the city.

Confiming the news, Balan was quoted saying, "I want to make a Bengali film based on Kolkata soon. It will be the city from my perspective- a city with a unique charm and I want to capture all that on camera and show the world."

Vidya Balan, who will be seen in a foot-tapping lavani number in Ferrari Ki Sawaari, will team up once more with her The Dirty Picture co-star Emraan Hashmi for Ghanchakkar, which will be Balan's first out and out comedy film.
