SRK vs Devgn: Box office war gets bigger!

This Diwali, Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan will clash at the box office with their respective films- Son Of Sardaar and Yash Chopra's next- releasing on November 14. Khan already has an edge over Devgn as more than half of the theatres are booked for his film, reportedly.
"Yashji's film has already been signed for all the cinemas across India which is playing Ek Tha Tiger. That takes away the best ones," Akshaye Rathi, fourth generation exhibitor and distributor, tweeted.
"Firstly, being a SRK-Yashji combo, one can safely assume maximum shows will go to that film. It will approximately be a 70:30 ratio. And it is a practice that is followed by few producers when they have big releases back to back," a multiplex chain head told Mumbai Mirror.
YRF's spokesperson told the tabloid: "YRF has been dealing with the same theatre owners through our distribution offices over the last 40 years and all of them would be more than happy to screen a Yash Chopra film, coming after a gap of eight years, without any reservation."
Ajay Devgn had earlier said there's space for two films on the big Diwali weekend: "Diwali's been lucky for me with films like Golmaal Returns (2008), All The Best (2009) and Golmaal 3. Rascals (2011), that released last Dussera, had a vulgar streak, I'll never do a film like that again. I don't know about their (YRF's) film, but SOS is a comic love story with lots of action, a perfect festival film."
Guess now Devgn will have to think again!
