Akshay's 'Krishna avatar' sees him ride a superbike!

Hot metal, chic design, 500cc engine, 300mm rear tyre, classic chrome mirror and lots more funk - a bike couldn't get more sizzling than this! And when the rider is Akshay Kumar, the hotness quotient goes up by several notches. Akshay's 'Krishna avatar' sees him ride a superbike!

Specially designed by Vardenchi Motorcycles for Akshay's upcoming movie Oh My God!, this super bike took a whole 45 days to design. Akshai Varde, whose company has designed this bike, says, "We were told about the plot of the film and its backdrop, so we designed accordingly. The bikes we custom made forSunburnGhost Rider and Tron, were all used during film promotions. However, this is the fist time, our bike will be used in an actual film and yeah, it sure feels nice!"

While sources from the film have said that Akshay is impressed by the drool factor of the bike and its design, they also tell us that this bike has cost the makers a cool 10 lakhs! But, when the film sees the return of one of Indian cinema's most successful comic jodi - Paresh Rawal andAkshay Kumar - every rupee is worth it.

Oh My God! is based on Umesh Shukla's famous Gujarati play Kanji Viruddh Kanji where the role of money in faith is satirically depicted. The play talks about an atheist dealer in antiques of holy statues and figurines. When an earthquake strikes, the dealer loses all and insurance company refuses to refund his money saying an earthquake is an 'act of God and hence not covered!' The hilarious turn of events between this atheist and God is what the play deals with.

While the film is a lose adaptation, it will be worth a wait to see Akshay Kumar play the modern day Krishna, wearing a leather jacket, a pair of aviators and of course his interactions with Paresh Rawal. The movie releases in September.
