Based on its latest findings, authorities are now considering the possibility that Sage Stallone was a drug dealer.
As previously reported, the 36-year old son of Sylvester Stallone was discovered dead in his bedroom last week, surrounded by empty prescription pill bottles for Hydrocodone (generic Vicodin).
However, officials do not believe Sage himself was abusing any substances, largely due to his weight (5'10", 188 pounds at the time of his passing) and the lack of physical evidence on his corpse.
TMZ insiders say no Hydrocodone tablets were actually found in Stallone's home, despite the fact that each bottle could hold up to 500 pills at a time. As a result, detectives and investigators will attempt to trace the contents using each bottle's serial numbers.
Sage's father, meanwhile, has reportedly hired his own private investigator to look into the life and death of his child, while all involved will need to wait a few weeks before the official cause of death is announced.
