
Veteran actor Donald Sutherland, who was last seen in The Hunger Games was recently honoured in France for his contribution to cinema on Saturday night. The Canadian actor was presented with the Commander of the Arts prize by Former French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand , who also saluted the actor.
Accepting the award, the 76 year old Sutherland thanked his wife for introducing him to French cinema and 'cheese and baguettes'. Other recipients of the award include British actor Sir Michael Caine and Hollywood's favourite cowboy Clint Eastwood.
